Find my names

Not a list of words. A round.

A round is about seventy names from six writers, each with the reason it fits your brief, the personalities it leans toward, and its domains already looked up. The names show as each writer finishes, and a critic orders the whole round at the end. Here are three real ones.

The briefs are the naming agent’s starter briefs, the names are from its judged runs, and the domains were checked by hand on the date shown. Nothing here is made up.

Three briefs, from real roundsDomains checked 2 Oct 2026

Names shown as the writers finish, not all at once.

How it works

Four steps, from one sentence to a name you can keep. Two are yours, two are the writers’.

  1. 1

    Say what you’re building

One sentence, or a file. The entry agent reads it while you type and asks only what it can’t tell: who it’s for, where, how it should feel.

  2. 2

    Six writers go to work

Six writers, one kind of name each: descriptive, evocative, invented, lexical, acronymic, geographical. A plan for your brief first, then all six in parallel, with their thinking on show. The first names in seconds, about seventy in a round.

  3. 3

Every name is checked and ranked

Its .com and up to three extensions, at the registries, before the lane shows. Then a critic reads the whole round and the rank weighs its score, the writer’s, and the free domains.

  4. 4

    Make it yours

Like, dismiss, ask for more like this, find a free variation of a taken one, tell a writer what to change. Sign in with Google and it waits for you.

What a name arrives with

One card from a real round, taken apart. Every name on the names page carries all of this.

  1. The writer

Which kind of name it is, from the writer that wrote it: descriptive, evocative, invented, lexical, acronymic or geographical. You can read its thinking.

  2. The reason

One line on why it fits your brief. Not a list of words: a name with its argument.

  3. Rare find

A strong name (the critic gave it 7 or more) with a free .com. They lead the top picks. Most rounds have none, short good names rarely come with a free .com.

Invented

Codemingo

Rare find · Critic 8/10

Code plus a flamingo’s bounce; vivid, memorable, bright.

More like this

  1. The personalities it fits

The brand archetypes it leans toward, from the answers you gave and the ones we guessed.

  2. Domains, checked

Its .com and up to three extensions the writer suggested, looked up at the registries before the name is shown. Free ones link to a shop.

  3. Steer it

Like it, dismiss it, ask for more like it, or find a free variation when its .com is taken. The writers see what you liked next round.

After the name, the brand

A name is the first decision, not the last. The deepmarks studio takes the name and the brief you already wrote and designs the identity around them: the logo, the type, the colours, the rules to keep them straight. Four example builds, so you can see the kind of work a package delivers. They are examples we wrote, not client work.
